There are so many events in and around the Waynesboro area it is not possible for a single source to include and maintain them all.  The organizations and businesses listed below are some of the best sources for information about what is going on in Waynesboro and nearby communities.  If an area code is missing from a phone number in this list, it is PA area code 717. Echo Pilot newspaper ("We Have Greencastle-Antrim Written All Over Us"), published on Wednesdays, focuses on news and community events of the Greencastle-Antrim area.  The office is located at 29 Center Square in Greencastle.  The website is http://www.echo-pilot.com/.  597-2164

Hagerstown Community College (HCC) is located at 11400 Robinwood Drive, just southeast of Hagerstown MD on a 316-acre campus, about 2.5 miles from downtown Hagerstown.  Many of the HCC events take place at the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC).  A wide variety of arts performances take place year-round at the Kepler Theater.  HCC's new website launched Mon., Sept. 21, 2009.

Tourism Council of Frederick County MD website is comprehensive and has interactive graphical maps of the County and the City of Frederick (about 35 minutes from Waynesboro).  The county has many attractions and historic sites to visit.  The website homepage directly links to the "What to See and Do" calendar of events (can be printed in PDF format).  The user-friendly website is http://www.fredericktourism.org/.   The toll-free tourism number is 1-800-999-3613.

Valley Revue, "Your Guide to the Good Life in the Valley," is published the first of each month and distributed to many locations in the area, including the Chamber of Commerce.  Covers MD, PA, VA, WV in each issue.  Includes maps, points of interest and a monthly calendar of events.  A complete listing of events can be found at http://www.valleyrevue.com.
